The WPT Prime Thailand Exhibition, which will be held at UOB LIVE, which is housed within Bangkok’s renowned EMSPHERE lifestyle complex, from July 30 to August 5, has been formally announced by WPT Global.
The exhibition is a daring move in WPT Global’s goal to expand the game by fusing poker with cultural tourism, even though it is not an official stop on the World Poker Tour circuit and does not grant Player of the Year points. Locals and participants from all regions who are at least 18 years old are welcome to participate in the event.
Three different package levels will be offered, with the top one providing entry to the WPT Prime Thailand Exhibition Championship. Soon, more information about the event payout structure and the contents of each package will be made public.
7,000 THB, 14,000 THB, and 37,000 THB
The event’s main component is a sponsored guaranteed trip money worth THB 37,000,000, or around $1 million USD, which is disbursed using a special “Play + Travel” package concept. These packages combine tournament entries with carefully chosen holiday experiences throughout Thailand and are offered for sale on-site. In essence, these vacation packages include free admission to the exhibition.
